About the Terrazzo, Tile & Marble Association of Canada (TTMAC)
Excellence in hard surfaces, across Canada.
We’re a national, member-driven association advancing the best use of terrazzo, tile, marble, and natural stone—from design to installation to long-term performance. Architects, designers, owners, builders, and contractors turn to TTMAC for standards, education, and a trusted community of professionals.
We exist to:
Promote the industry and showcase the value of terrazzo, tile, marble, and stone in Canadian construction.
Increase adoption among architects, owners, general contractors, and the broader building community.
Foster a strong, ethical community for those working in these trades and allied professions.
Share accurate, up-to-date information that improves practice, quality, and working conditions.
Support healthy labour relations and encourage fair, uniform employment practices where possible.
Build lasting relationships across the industry—doing what’s necessary and proper to achieve the above.

Education & Training: Courses, resources, and knowledge sharing for designers, estimators, project managers, and installers.

At TTMAC, integrity, fairness, respect, compliance, and transparency guide everything we do. Every Director, consultant, contractor, employee, and representative is expected to uphold these standards to protect our reputation and the public interest.

We expect professional, respectful behaviour in all dealings—with members, staff, suppliers, applicants, and the public. Discrimination or harassment is not tolerated. Members and representatives champion equity, diversity, and inclusion in everyday practices, processes, and decisions.
Privacy
We manage the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information with care and in alignment with applicable privacy requirements. Those handling personal information must follow TTMAC privacy policies and procedures.
Appropriate Use of Property & Technology
TTMAC assets—physical and digital—are for legitimate association purposes. Representatives must protect these assets from loss, misuse, or theft and use IT resources responsibly.
Conflicts of Interest, Gifts & Hospitality
Personal interests must not conflict with TTMAC’s interests.
Arrange private affairs to prevent actual, apparent, or potential conflicts.
Do not exploit non-public information for personal gain.
Decline gifts or hospitality that could influence—or appear to influence—objectivity.
Environment & Sustainability
We support environmentally responsible practices and continuous improvement, aligning our work with the principles of sustainable development.
Health & Safety
Leaders are responsible for maintaining a healthy, safe workplace. Everyone shares responsibility to follow safety directives and take sensible precautions to protect themselves and others.
Bilingual Service
We support service in English and French and strive to ensure members of the public can communicate with the association in both official languages where designated and applicable.
Reporting Concerns
If you become aware of a serious breach of this Code—or any wrongdoing—report it to the TTMAC Executive. Good-faith reporters are protected from reprisals.
